Common questions

FAQ

Who teaches the workshops?

Most are led by Henry M Production or a guest photographer from our network of local pros. Every workshop announcement will name the instructor and their background.

What skill level are they for?

Depends on the workshop — each session is tagged as Beginner, Intermediate, or All Levels. We keep group sizes small (8–12 people) so nobody gets lost.

What do I need to bring?

Just your camera and a lens. All studio gear — strobes, modifiers, backdrops — is provided. If you don’t own flash triggers, we have remotes for Sony, Canon, Nikon, and Fuji.

How much do workshops cost?

Free community workshops through Meetup happen throughout the year. Paid workshops with structured curriculum typically run $50–$150 per person.

What’s your refund policy?

Full refund up to 7 days before the workshop. Within 7 days, credit toward a future workshop. If we cancel, you get a full refund.

Can I request a topic?

Yes — email team@henrymproduction.com and tell us what you want to learn. If we get enough interest, we’ll build a workshop around it.
